If you don’t know what you are looking for, no problem!
We offer two primary ways to engage with our restorative practice offerings:
You can get formal training to become a Restorative Justice Facilitator or in other Restorative Practice Skills like Restorative Conversations.
You can participate in our other community events like Community Gathering Circles which don’t require any training or skills and are open to all!
Folks who plan to engage as volunteers at BRITE can receive training for free while other community participants are asked to pay. Community Gathering Circles have a suggested donation but are available despite ability to pay.

BRITE Collaborative welcomes volunteers with many different backgrounds and lived experiences, including those who may or may not have official documentation of their immigration status and/or those who have been involved in the criminal justice system. We believe that our community benefits from the wisdom and learnings from those in our community who may have needed a second chance and we would love to have you as a part of it.
The inability to complete a successful background check or a background check with no criminal history, does not necessarily preclude you from volunteering. At the discretion of BRITE CO staff, we can work with individuals to establish credibility and fittedness to volunteer in other ways.
