Announcing Jean Wallace as the Chair of BRITE’s Board of Directors!
Jean Wallace is a seasoned executive with extensive leadership experience in driving organizational growth, operational excellence, and strategic innovation. With a successful career spanning more than 35 years, Jean has cultivated a diverse skill set, including strategic planning, team leadership, process optimization, and talent development.
In the manufacturing and operations sectors, Jean successfully oversaw streamlining production processes, reducing costs, and improving efficiency, contributing to measurable improvements in performance and profitability. Jean’s expertise in human resources has enabled her to lead initiatives in employee engagement, training, and compliance, fostering positive workplace cultures and driving organizational success.
With a strong background in restaurant management, Jean understands the importance of customer experience, adaptability, and effective communication. She has a proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments while maintaining a focus on quality and service excellence.
Jean has worked for companies such as American Outdoor Products, Noodles & Company, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Peaberry Coffee, Guiness Irish Pubs, and Rock Bottom Restaurants. She holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Dayton. Additionally Jean is a trained chef, holds a Health Coach Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, is a business coach, and is trained as a facilitator for Myers Briggs and Situational Leadership.
As a passionate advocate for BRITE’s vision, Jean brings a unique perspective that combines operational expertise with a commitment to empowering individuals and communities. Jean is eager to leverage her broad professional experience to support BRITE’s board in achieving its goals and advancing its mission.
Outside of Jean’s professional life, she enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, paddle boarding, playing pickleball, and dedicating time to personal growth and community involvement.
