Welcome to the Board!
Becca Close (she/they) joins BRITE as a Board Member, bringing a commitment to curiosity and awareness through her work as a small business owner and bodywork practitioner.
“Curiosity is at the center of how I move through my work- whether I’m with clients, in conversation, or navigating challenges. What draws me most to BRITE is its focus on courage, curiosity, and relationships- and the shared commitment to listening in a way that fosters real understanding and connection.”
Outside of her work, Becca is actively involved in local TEDx and Toastmasters communities, and enjoys cooking, learning new skills, and exploring personal growth practices- often bringing the same curiosity she values in her work into her everyday life.
Daniel Easton (he/him) joins BRITE as a Board Member and brings with him a career and deep commitment to Restorative Justice. Daniel is the former Director for the University of Colorado’s office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution, which hosts a robust Restorative Justice program, and just recently completed BRITE’s facilitator training.
“I am drawn to how restorative interventions return agency and power to communities. Restorative interventions remind us that justice and equity are created by people and communities, not by systems. I am drawn to the possibility to contribute to a more equitable and just community when those goals can feel increasingly out of reach.”
Outside of his time promoting restorative values within the community, he enjoys reading, playing with his dogs, Dungeons and Dragons, and cooking.
